FAROKH "ELTON" AHI - Producer

Farokh "Elton" Ahi is a world-renowned music producer. He began his academic career at University of Southern California (USC) studying architecture at a very young age, while pursuing his interest in music. After completion of school, he began in the music industry as a disc-jockey, while providing consulting services to record labels and mixing Dance version of the pop songs.

Billboard Magazine has voted him “United States DJ mixer of the Year”.

His first attempt in composition and production resulted in worldwide success of the Hit album "Destination” and the Number One single "Move On Up".

Ahi has worked with the majority of Iranian artists and produced numerous memorable albums including "Hamsayeha" (Siavash Shams), which is considered as the best-selling Iranian album of all time.

He has been credited with music production/editing/sound engineering for over 100 Hollywood major motion pictures including: xXx, The Mummy 3, 27 Dresses and The Last of the Mohicans, which won an Oscar for sound.

Ahi currently owns Rusk Sound Studios in Los Angeles, a recording house for artists such as Donna Summer, Plavido Domingo, Billy Idol, Britney Spears and Elton John.

Ahi adopted the moniker "Elton" when a radio station interview dubbed him "Elton Joon" after recording some Elton John songs.
