PAKSIMA ZAKIPOUR – Lyricist

Paksima Zakipour is one of the most renowned lyricists of our generation. Since 1990, Paksima has written over 400 songs, many of which have become the most popular Iranian songs of all time.

She has written songs for music icons such as fellow Star Musician judge Andy as well as Ebi, Siavash Ghomeishi, Sattar, Leila Forouhar, Mansour, and Nooshafarin just to name a few.

Her resume of songs includes Andy's most recent hit "Hana". Her personal favorites include Mansour's "Azize Delami" & "Faghat Bekhatereh Toh", Sattar's "Salam", Siavash Ghomeishi's "Ghoroub", Leila Forouhar's "Chi Sedat Konam Toro" as well as Andy's "Sar Sepordeh" & "Bigharar".

In 2009, Paksima wrote the Farsi lyrics for the "Stand By Me" remake that was recorded by Andy and American rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. The YouTube video now has more than 6 million hits worldwide.

In addition to her lyrical master pieces, Paksima has also received a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology.
